Ice Luge
Naseby has the only Ice Luge in the Southern Hemisphere!
Surrounded by Naseby Forest, the Ice Luge track is Naseby's answer to fun and excitement. Take to the track for an amazing Ice Luge experience! Go as fast or as slow as you wish, the range of rides available gives everyone the opportunity to experience the thrill of the ice at their own pace and level of comfort. The Ice Luge is seasonal and is open in winter, from June to August.

The natural track, is a variation of the more commonly known Olympic luge. Naseby's natural luge track has a base of hard packed snow covered with a layer of ice, enclosed within low wooden walls.
Contrasting luge to car racing, Olympic luge is like Formula One while natural track luge is more like a rally car. As well as being an excellent introduction to luge, and the basis for developing Olympic luge athletes, the natural luge track can be used for a wide range of recreational rides including the ski snow sleds (complete with steering wheels and brakes) and self-steering rubber bobsleds. The luge caters for both recreational and competitive situations.
